Families

I wrote the text for this book several years ago, when there were very few picture books about families on the shelves in bookshops. And then as each year went by I saw more and more picture books being published about families, and I worried that there wouldn’t be room for mine! I also worried that people might have thought I was just jumping on the bandwagon! But I think Yael and my take on this topic focuses on the interests, styles and ‘personalities’ of individual families, their particular family culture, if you like. And that sets it apart from other books about families - I hope!
